Amanda MacNeil, Executive Director
Amanda MacNeil joined the Codiac Regional Policing Authority (CRPA) in 2024 and currently serves as the Executive Director of the board. Amanda has over 25 years of public service experience. She began her career in 1997 with the Provincial Department of Transportation and Infrastructure working in the land management branch. Amanda attended the University of New Brunswick Bachelor of Arts program and graduated from Oulton’s Business College with a Paralegal Diploma (Honors). Amanda transitioned to municipal government in 2000 where she served over 20 years with the City of Moncton By-Law Enforcement & Public Safety services. She is trained in law enforcement investigations, crime prevention, conflict resolution and strategic planning. An avid learner, Amanda obtained her Certification in Essential Management from McGill University in 2021 and her Certification in Psychologically Safe Leadership from the University of New Brunswick in 2024. Amanda served on the board of directors for the Atlantic Bylaw Officers Association (ABOA) for several years and held the position of President prior to her retirement from the City of Moncton. She was also an Executive member of the Municipal Law Enforcement Officers Association of Ontario (MLEO). Amanda is passionate about animal welfare. She served on the board of directors for Friends of the Zoo as well as worked for and volunteers with People for Animal Wellbeing (PAW).
