Stephen Reid comes to the CAPG with over 15 years of progressive senior leadership and executive association experience, such as the Police Association of Ontario, the Ontario Medical Association and the Pharmacists’ Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. In addition to volunteering on the Boards of the Canadian Society of Evidence-based Policing and Serving with Pride (2SLGBTQ+ law enforcement association in Ontario), Stephen is also completing a PhD studying policing and mediatization in Canada.
“Policing has always been and continues to be an important part of public service throughout every community in Canada,” said Stephen Reid. “As society continues to evolve and grow, I am looking forward to being a part of a police governance organization that can be an important leader and contributor within the conversations and solutions shaping a modern policing profession that reflects the needs of all communities across Canada.”
