Eva’s PhD research is focused on women’s leadership in policing in the Canadian context including the unique challenges and opportunities of
working in gendered organizations.  Her background working in the justice system has informed her research interests which include: mental health and wellness, correctional practice and criminological theory.  Eva is an instructor and previous Chair of the Criminal Justice Program at Camosun College in Victoria, BC.  As a certified group facilitator and instructor, Eva offers workshops for educators in post-secondary institutions and public safety organizations focusing on practical and theoretical aspects of criminology, justice and leadership.
